4th August 2011 - Meet Charlotte

Charlotte is a 16 week old Blue Grey Tabby. She was surrendered at a shire shelter having suffered alleged abuse by her previous owners. With such a loving, affectionate personality we took Charlotte in and were determined to give her a second chance. Following a check by our vet it was found that she had a fracture to her hip which if left untreated would cause her permanent pain and suffering. We are happy to report that Charlotte underwent surgery on her hip today and is now back in her foster home resting comfortably. Although her recovery will be very slow, she will now get the love and support she needs and she should make a full recovery. Looking at little Charlotte now and having her purr at us following such a major operation reinforces to us why we do what we do.

If you would like to help us with Charlotte's surgery and recovery costs donations can be made to Peninsula Cat Rescue BSB 633 000 A/C 141212415. Please use "Charlotte" as your reference number.
