  • No Surrenders

Can we please remind everyone we are a group of volunteers who rescue kittens and pregnant cats from Pounds and Shelters. We do NOT take cats from the public as we do not have the facilities to hold them and it is dangerous for our own pets. If you have a cat you need to rehome you need to do it yourself or take it to one of the big shelters that have facilities for cats. We thank you for your understanding and continued support, PCR Committee.

Peninsula Cat Rescue Inc. is a not for profit, volunteer run organisation on the Mornington Peninsula established in July 2010. Our organisation was formed by a group who have been involved in the rescue and re-homing of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens for a number of years.

Our committee is managed by knowledgeable and passionate people whose goal is to break the cycle of irresponsible pet ownership by rescuing cats and kittens which would otherwise be euthanised, and then re-homing them through our network of foster carers.

All of our cats and kittens are fully vet checked, vaccinated, de-sexed and micro-chipped and are housed in loving family environments with our foster carers prior to adoption to their new permanent homes.

Adopting a cat or kitten from Peninsula Cat Rescue Inc. helps to break the cycle and saves a life.

Please check out our volunteer or donations area to see how you can help us save lives.
