Each year in Victoria, over 35,000 cats and kittens are euthanised through either mistreatment, neglect or simply being dumped, abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Peninsula Cat Rescue Inc’s aim is to rescue as many of these animals as possible and provide them with a second chance. Through our network of volunteer foster carers, we are able to house, nurture and integrate them into a loving and safe family environment before adopting them out to loving permanent homes.

By de-sexing, micro-chipping, worming and vaccinating all of our animals prior to adoption, and, through screening of potential adoption families and making the public aware of the responsibilities of pet ownership, our ultimate goal is to break the ever increasing cycle.
